Overview
In this exciting fourth story about Shelldon Snail, Shelldon finds himself the garden race champion. When the Old Man brings a new resident to the garden, all the others gather around for a welcome. It turns out to be Tobias, a young turtle. When Tobias learns that Shelldon likes to race, he challenges him. All the other garden animals gather to watch. The race is exciting with the lead changing between the two. When Duke the dog announces the winner, everyone cheers. Afterward, Shelldon, Shellrick, and Tobias all decide to be great friends.
