Overview

Max never asked to be a hero. All he wanted was to keep Zog-his glowing, metal-chewing, alien dog-safe. But when a Barkonian Envoy arrives, Max and his best friend Rosie are dragged across the galaxy to face the legendary Barkonian Trials. The stakes? Fail, and the bond with Zog will be broken forever.Between mind-bending tests, Barkonian judges who don't trust humans, and Felinian shape-shifters sabotaging every step, Max feels more out of his depth than ever. Rosie's boldness keeps them charging ahead, but one mistake could mean losing Barkon itself. To survive, Max will have to do the one thing he's always feared most: step up and lead. Because laughter might be the strongest force in the galaxy-but only if Max, Rosie, and Zog can stand together when it matters most. The Barkonian Trials is the third book in the Alien Dog Adventures series, a fun, fast-paced middle grade series filled with humor, heart, and intergalactic danger. Perfect for readers who love unlikely heroes, glowing alien dogs, and stories where laughter really is the strongest weapon in the galaxy.
