Poetry In Mourning is a collection of poems written during some of the darkest moments in my life. My personal struggle copping with the loss of my mother, my husband, my sister, my niece and my friends. When living seemed too difficult, even seemed unfair, I chose to write about the grief and depression which plagued me...still plagues me.Throughout my grieving process I found the spoken word allowed me to express myself without hurting myself, which always seemed to be the next option.
