Sandi Webster, private investigator, and her husband and partner, Pete, returned to Wolf Creek, a ghost town stumbled upon by chance a few years earlier. Accompanied by Sandi's Aunt Martha and her husband, Griz, the group looked forward to both some quiet time as well as potential ghost town adventure. Unexpectedly, Sandi and her aunt find a mystery that's just waiting to be solved. Judith and William Melton, owners of the general store, disappeared without a trace sometime around 1882. At one time a serial killer walked the streets of the small town. Could they have been victims of the same killer? Aunt Martha, always one to enjoy a good mystery, found records that indicate something else happened. Someone appeared to be stalking both Judith Melton and another woman, Antoinette Ambrose, but it wasn't the serial killer. While the men helped Jake Mack, once considered a mysterious cowboy, rebuild the town he's purchased so visitors can walk in the steps of the people who once lived there, can the women uncover the truth that lies hidden in the dark shadows of Wolf Creek?
