Overview

At the urging of friends and some family members, Dr. Mike Bergman collected together some of his shorter sermon messages from his years of preaching. He created a weekly reading for those who might not want to read a year's worth of sermons in a short time span. It can also be leveraged as Bible Study material for a weekly study with small groups, with two Easter and Christmas sermons at the end of the book that could be used at that time of the year. All fifty two sermons are around scriptures in the gospels with closing thoughts at the end of these messages to make them more useful as personal devotions or to simply challenge the readers to think more deeply about the main point, and to reflect on how the message could take deeper roots into their soul-soil. Having been blessed by five grandchildren, all of whom are followers of Jesus Christ, Dr. Mike asked each of them to respond to some of these messages and write a response that will give a perspective from the younger generation (FTYG) regarding the thoughts and promptings they have received from the Holy Spirit as they read them.
