People with Parkinson's disease who take mucuna do not know how to dose it and do not tell their doctors for fear of reproach. Many doctors disapprove of mucuna without knowing about it. Laboratories give inadequate information and sometimes what reaches the customer is not what is on the label.Mucuna contains levodopa in its natural form and is a different way of administering it, with an individual assimilation profile that is different from that of conventional drugs.
