Overview
This book of poems are poems written by me. Joseph Abram Jr. addressing different situations. Some are Memorials, some are tributes of loved ones and friends. Some are religious. Others are romantic and some are general. These are a collection of poems that I have written over the years.Having been pastoring over 36 years, I found ways of expressing myself, and it helped me to cope with lots of situations. Some are personal experiences, others are observational and imaginative, leaving the readers with the opportunity to assign them. I'm grateful for the God given talent to be able to communicate through my writings. I pray that these poems will be an inspiration to others to help them on their journey.Joseph Abram, Jr. is the second of five sons born to Joseph Abram, Sr. and Beatrice Moore-Abram. He was reared in the Spring Branch Community of Marion County, South Carolina on a sharecropper's farm called The Pint. He is an Elder in The United Methodist Church and a Full Membership of The General Board of Discipleship's Academy of Preaching; reserved for those with potential to be great preachers and, or significant church leaders. He is a Member of The Africa University's Development Board Advisory Committee, and has made several trips to Africa and to the University in Mutare, Zimbabwe. Joseph Jr. was married to the late Mildred Wilson and the couple had three sons; and one daughter in their forty-five (45) year marriage. Joseph Jr. is currently married to JoAnn Green for fifteen (15) years with four bonus adult children: Two sons and two daughters. Joseph Jr. notes, "God saw my needs and sent me another angel.
