Overview

In this book you can journey with me from my upbringing in the beautiful town of Stromness in the Orkney islands to the big city of Aberdeen, and beyond to the 'shire where I now live. Even at a young age I always felt that I had a different spirit, one that would often get me in trouble as a youth. However, with God in the equation, I received a spirit that can be moulded to break down the ordinary lifestyle. Once I discovered who I was in Christ then my true identity was revealed. Please enjoy this story about an ordinary boy who looked to have it all as a youngster, but hid his troubles behind a big smile. We all have a story to tell, this one is transparent, open and unashamedly honest. From the lows of losing family members, to the multiple car crashes, to marrying my beautiful wife Joanne within nine months of meeting, and going on to have five amazing kids. Hopefully you will see how God can take an ordinary man and use him way beyond his natural abilities. Having a different spirit combined with faith, life is one great adventure, so let's begin...
