D.B. Cooper and Me

Have you ever wondered what the real story of D.B. Cooper is? Me too. This short story is not that real story. It is the product of the author's mind. But it resonates with the known facts. I do not really want to add to the romanticized notion that D.B. Cooper was some sort of hero. I agree with the FBI agents who said he was a criminal. His crime of highjacking a Boeing 727 in 1971 has never been solved. The mystery lingers. And mysteries give birth to stories. This is just one of them. It is a short story of relationship. A fictional relationship between D.B. Cooper and Daniel Miyoshi, writer and amateur sleuth.
