Overview
Nicol was the epitome of happiness until beloved husband and three-year-old son were killed in head-on collision with a Kentucky coal truck. Held prisoner by grief, until color as suddenly as it disappeared, returned. Discovering an ad from the new Galaxy Space Center looking for people to fill the job as space host and hostess, she applied and was hired. The revamped space shuttle would be used for civilian travel that included, with an enormous extra fee, a walk in space. Nicol was to be the first hostess for the space walks.
