Overview
In the kingdom of heaven, there is no such thing as insignificance. That is the premise of this book. It is a collection of poems, stories, fiction and non-fiction, biographies, quotes and personal commentary all in defense of the idea that in Christ Jesus, we are all "significants".I picture Satan jeering as he mutters a word like "significants" to describe the children of God; the distaste in his mouth as he seeks to steal, kill and destroy all we have been given in God. May this book give you courage to beg to differ and to stand strong as a "significant".Joel Howard lives with his wife and children in New Jersey, USA, where he works as a teacher. He has led worship alongside his wife, Sophia, for years and enjoys teaching his children to love God. A published author, singer and artist, Joel features poetry and new songs regularly at connectedanduseful.com.Now more than ever, we all need vocabulary and permission to talk about the hard things in life with pandemic, war and human rage as every day occurrences for us. Joel's poetry targets that need and helps others express their own hurt, pain and joy in prayers and reflections for life.Joel's books include: Prayers: Anthology of Poetry, 2019, School of Suffering, and The Prodigal Chronicles.
