Todd Harper had been diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor when he was four years old. But at that age, death doesn't mean very much to a child so young. Now, he is fifteen and knows what his future holds. He has the courage of a lion but is also terrified of the unknown.One night, looking out of his bedroom window, he spots a large (Shape) moving around by the hedge; he soon realizes the 'shape' is a vast, beautiful dog.
