The Essentials Workbook provides professional learning communities and leaders with activities aligned with the Essential Tips for Special Education Leaders book. The Essential Tips for Special Education Leaders book offers practical tips and recommendations for novice and veteran special education leaders based on my special education leadership experience with special programs and Section 504. These tried and true essential tips and suggestions, along with an overview of special education history, information, and useful knowledge, serve as a resource for special education leaders. As an educator at heart, I enjoyed every college-level course. However, nothing could prepare me for the ever-changing special education trends and leadership duties affiliated with special education. This Workbook serves as a resource to assist and guide leadership in special education.
