This book is about much more than anger. it is really about love, vulnerability and a belief that humans can be better and do better than we have in the past. This book seeks to establish that people of African descent are not simply victims of colonialism, or only supporting characters in a Eurocentric narrative, but we exist in and create our own fabulous worlds, survive against all odds and have developed unparalleled levels of strength, empathy, and dedication that are ultimately inspiring.
