Overview
Treat yourself to voices, not from the past, but voices who speak to you through your own heart. From the Old Testament times, Enoch, Elijah, and Ezekiel update us, also Moses and Job. From the New Testament era, we hear from Lazarus the beggar, and from Lazarus the brother of Mary and Martha. More recent essayists who join them are Victor Frankl, author of "Man's Search for Meaning," and Grand Mother Ida Mae. It is from her words, uttered at the end of her last lifetime on Earth, that we have taken the title to this volume: "I see the end of the beautiful road!" The road is here and now, and it winds far beyond. The authors relate their own death and afterlife experiences in thrilling detail.
