Aye's health and survival now depends on the benevolence of those he has hurt in the past. Do not bite the fingers that feed you. Do not kill the goose that lays the golden egg. How often we hear these admonitions and how often we forget them! If one good turn deserves another, does one bad turn deserve another?This story is about the earth and echoes our responsibility to care and protect earth. While living in denial has been embraced as a survival mechanism for some, the evidence is all around us and the need to raise the next generation with the urgency of these truths so they are less likely to fall into the errors of "aye-cious denialists" is a priority.
