Overview
Do you have long-standing heart responses you're not fond of? Reflexes to circumstances, events, or people that press in on you and offer reactions that yield the same old lackluster results? We need new habits that spring from the renewed mind; we need a God-given remedy. We need His grace, coupled with our effort. We need to behold God as our foremost treasure. Jesus said where our treasure is, there our heart will also be (Matthew 6:21). When Jesus is the foremost treasure in our hearts, it will be as a result of tasting and seeing that He is good (Psalm 34:8), and we will, therefore, desire to be transformed into the beauty of His likeness. It is then that we will be able to train ourselves to follow His commands because it will be our joy to follow Him.
