Overview
Lauren Wood has always given 100% to those around her. She worked herself to the bone at work, and finally snaps when that is evidently not enough. Her troublesome roommate also gets left behind when Lauren realizes she could do so much better, anywhere else. When she reaches out to her friends to celebrate, she is met with excuses instead and has to celebrate by herself. She meets a very friendly bartender who, among other things, recommends she takes a holiday just for herself. She follows his advice and sets out on a cruise around the world. Not only does Lauren make a journey around the world discovering places and people, she also discovers new things about herself leaving the old Lauren behind.
