Overview
Against an accurate depiction of the culture and politics of tumultuous 1981 Miami, a year after the Mariel Boatlift brought 125,000 Cuban refugees to the city, former CIA officer, and current trial attorney, Tony Gannon, goes about the business of practicing law. When he is visited by two people from his CIA days, he helps each to achieve their specific goals. Later, he is tasked with defending a judge accused of murdering a prominent Cuban exile attorney in front of dozens of horrified witnesses.
