Overview
Music and Mayhem in the Delta: If you were a young man given only a short time to live, what would you do? How about a bucket list road trip! Especially if you own a classic Mustang GT350 fastback, lovingly restored close to original specs. Johnny Hamilton (Ham) and best pal Trip head south out of Memphis with a singular focus: Follow the Blues Trail through Mississippi to the Gulf Coast, devouring music trivia and chili dogs along the way. From the Ole Miss campus to Elvis' hometown through the historic Delta, the duo never has a dull moment. Confrontations with escaped convicts, rogue football players, scam artists and redneck brawlers color their journey. Assignations with Southern belles add spice to the mix. Each day is an adventure taking them ever closer to the point of no return. If you like the idea of Southern fried culture, blues trivia and male bonding uncovered in a search for the South's best-dressed doggie, then you will eagerly hitch a ride with Ham and Trip as they careen down the two-lane blacktop. Just remember to fasten your seat belt!
