Overview
It is the near future, in a world where things previously considered inconceivable/impossible can and do now happen: a world still peopled by the good and the bad, but increasingly also by the intolerant and criminal. Enter The Preacher Man and his disciples, collectively known as The Cleansers, who, by way of draconian laws, Old Testament punishment and the non-negotiable imposition of "goodness", undertake to cleanse society.
