Overview
Hush Lil' Blackbird Don't Say a Word, ironically is a call and response form of interaction between poetry & lyricism. This book reaches way down deep into the depths of the soul, and will have you singing to the tune of poetic blues with rhythm that cannot be denied. The poetry echoes the call responding to the late Paul Laurence Dunbar, and Dr. Maya Angelou's caged birds floating downstream holding onto bars pleading sympathy, nevermore are we...as the Raven refrains I know why the caged bird 'sAngs.
