Overview
The epic of young prince Corin, who unexpectedly inherits responsibility for a besieged kingdom, throwing him into a peril filled quest to save his people from an ancient threat he never knew existed. Without time to mourn his loss he leaves his brother and friends behind and sets off alone to find the most unlikely of allies, hoping that he can survive the meeting. He struggles with feelings of hatred, inadequacy, and impatience as he prepares himself for a seemingly impossible final battle. Originally completed at the age of 16, this medieval fantasy is the first work written by the author. Decades later, a single paper manuscript survived, and has been transcribed for publishing for the first time complete with the original hand drawn map.
