Overview
My genuine appreciation, care, and love for the Black Men in our community expressed in a short-format poem that left myself as the author in tears upon reflection. It is for the purpose of reprogramming myself as a Black Woman that I send this message to those who struggle with the daily pressures of living and being in love with a Real Black Man. The journey is long, the journey is hard, but we will prevail.
