Resting in the arms of love is a wonderful dwelling place. As I sat sedentary inside my house, resting from an injury, I recalled the events that had rescued me from my former pain-filled life and the woman who had been the person to perform the miracle. What gift could I give to the young lady who had chosen me, to run at her side, as a celebration of our twenty-first anniversary? Then a voice within my heart said, Write the story of how you, her, and I made the journey to this place of love. Filled with joy over the truth that I was still madly in love with her after all of these years, I began to write. This is the fictional portrayal of that journey of healing that brought us to this celebration of a beautiful life.
