Mommy, where are you going? is a book for working moms to share with their children how moms contribute to the world outside of the home. The book explains the types of things moms do while away from their children. It is a way to start a dialogue with toddlers and children about why Mom cannot stay and play all day, even if she wants to. Also, the book can facilitate a conversation about where mom is going all day and what she does while she is gone. Additionally, it is a way to discuss the importance of moms in the workforce and how they contribute to society in amazing ways. The book shows a variety of jobs and professions moms do every day. This book does not compare children to work or talk about "a job". Rather it is a celebration of how multi-faceted and multi-dimensional moms are.
