Roostie the Rooster has stopped crowing, causing a lot of problems for Farmer Jim. Everyone is sleeping in, totally off-schedule, and the farm is falling apart. The cows are aren't giving much milk, and the hens are only laying a few eggs. But why has Roostie stopped crowing? Well for one thing, he thinks that everyone on the farm has important things to do except him. He tells his friend, Ruby the Hen, "I'm worthless, useless! I can't even lay an egg!"
