Overview
The Egyptian Movie Buccaneers in Hollywood documents a sample of films that were released in Egypt which have been copied, adapted, or based on cinematic concepts from foreign films, especially Hollywood. The difficulty facing such actions is the clash between cultures. Oftentimes a story taking place in Russia in English or Russian does not look genuine when the producer changes the place of the events from Moscow to Cairo. The cinematic work is not complete by merely changing the language. The plot of any film is dependent on the local culture, demography, geography, scenery, etc.
