Words and whispers is a poetry collection by Violeta Chalk, written from 1995 until 2022. The collection consists of poems about friends, family, places, nature and her personal experience of life living in the South of England. The book takes you on a journey through her observations of everyday life, and her love of nature and the people around her, which is shown through this eclectic anthology. Her observations of the area she has lived in for 35 of her 73 years, gives an interesting insight into the West Sussex town of 'Crawley' from old to modern times.
