Overview
In the year 1955, Larry Snitly was putting in a hard days work at Hussinger's coalmine, during a very important shift. As he was picking away at the walls of the coalmine, with his fellow miners, they struck a methane gas pocket causing an explosion. Several of the miners were killed, but Larry was mutated giving him superhuman strength and abilities. Now with his new found abilities, Larry seeks revenge on those who tormented him all his life. Until the day he was trapped inside the very coalmine where he was created by the people he was trying to murder.One faithful day, in the 1980's, a bus, on its way to Atlantic City, was driving by the town of Coal Valley, Pa in the midst of a raging rain storm. The bus veered off the road, hit a ditch, and crashed. The survivors of the bus accident sought out shelter in the town of Coal Valley, Pa until the storm was over. As the storm turned into a shower of lightning, the bolts of lightening entered the coalmine, followed the minecar tracks, and struck the body of Larry Snitly reviving him.
