A Good Fight, first published in 1960, is the story of Franklin D. Roosevelt from the onset of his polio at Campobello, New Brunswick, to his death at Warm Springs, Georgia, on April 12, 1945. Author Jean Gould's contention is that difficult as were his political battles, so much more arduous were his victories over his physical impediments.
