Overview
The Ketsugo Goju-Ryu Karate-Do book series began with Shodai Jay Trombley, about the founder of Ketsugo Goju-Ryu. Volume 2: Katas & Self-Defense begins the outline of the system itself, the system that started in Okinawa with Seikichi Toguchi's Shoreikan Goju-Ryu. Ketsugo Goju-Ryu was established in 1974 by Shodai Jay Trombley and continues today. Volume 2: Katas & Self-Defense includes pictures and descriptions of the following katas: Kihon Ichi, Gekisai Ichi, Gekisai Ni, Gekisai San, Hon'nogeki, Saifa, Genshin, Isshoni San, Sanchin, Seiunchin, and Sepai. It also contains techniques and many self-defense moves that are part of the KGJKA curriculum.
