Overview
Chronicles of Graduate School is a candid, humorous, and self-disclosing account of one man's Odyessy through American's doctoral training programs. Dr. Cajal offers an honest and candid story of betrayal, trickery, pettiness, as well as inspiration, encouragement, and reinforcement. There's death, failure, and deceit. There's honor, dignity, and achievement. This personal rendering is self-disclosing, sometimes self-deprecating, but often humorous and gripping. Dr. Cajal's fascination with his subject shines through as both a testament to his devotion and his perseverance. He is able to offer a unique perspective which illuminates and serves as a multifaceted object lesson about life and learning. Dr. Cajal's attendance at four prominent graduate campuses in the East, Midwest, Rocky Mountain, and Western regions of the United States and his diplomas make him a rare authority on the nature of how students are treated academically and administratively as they move along the path of novice to published scholar.
