Overview
M. A. Lance presents horror in a *style* inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, that so many enjoy but in which so few authors write. In a collection of Victorian to modern era tales, M. A. Lance delivers true horror stories in a first person perspective that make you think. He places you into the stories so deeply, you won't be able to stop until the final horrible end is discovered! The stories include: That Which Man Should Not See, a man visiting in Aunt in the swamps in Florida discovers her horrible secret by accident. In Synchronicity, a researcher decides to test the validity of synchronicity, the idea that there is repetition in space and time, with unexpected results. In A Demon in Paradise, an anthropologist discovers what he believes is a utopian society, until the appearance of a demon changes the situation. In The Spoonwood Murders, a local police chief is on the trail of a savage murderer, who likes to eat his victims. In The Diary, A man searching for ruins on this wild tropical isle discovers why nobody else has paved a trail to them. The Compendium also includes M. A. Lance's Idol and Inside.
