The Songs Of Lilith: A Tree Of Poems

The Songs of Lilith is an epic poem that describes the journey of Leah, a young women who falls asleep and wakes up in the Kingdom of Hell. As she descents, she meets Lilith, who was the first woman on Earth and Adam's first wife in the Garden of Eden. Here, Lilith is the Queen of Hell, who serves as Leah's guide through Hell's seven Kingdoms, each one ruled by a different Queen. At the end of Leah's journey, she meets the Devil, who gives her an unexpected gift. The Hell described here is not a physical place, and certainly not the eerie underworld of the Bible or any other religious book, but rather a spiritual place where the human mind dwells at certain perilous times we all find ourselves in. By examining seven Kingdoms, each one associated with a different Deadly Sin, the author explores the darker side of the human psyche, inviting readers to draw comparisons with their own private Hells.
