The opening section is dedicated to the family in France and England (980-1564), followed by a look at the Kingston Pierreponts (1564-1773) and Pierreponts in England and America (1564-1880). The length of individual entries varies quite a bit. Some entries are limited to a name, while other may list dates of birth, marriage, or death; residence; occupation; spouse(s); parents of spouse; military service, etc. A few entries contain very brief biographical sketches.
