From the Edge of Sanity : An Autistic Anthology

Meet Heidi. She is a rapidly ageing woman/child with CPTSD*. She's Autistic. Has ADD**, NPD*** (most likely) BPD****....with a light sprinkling of HPD****. . ALLLL the psyche ward acronyms. She is also a mother. To twin toddler boys. If you're a well meaning psychologist/psychiatrist, don't call the men in white suites just yet... She is self aware. She see's the way that her trauma manifests into the world. She is using her mind to control it and yoga to heal it. She will no longer perpetuate it, into the reality that she shares with her children. She will not pass it on to them. The guilt of her imperfections weigh heavily on her heart. Poetry is all at once an outlet, salve and divine intervention. The poetry/prose herein is a roadmap to the mind and emotions of an awakening autistic girl, learning to love and to heal.
