Enrique Ros was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba and graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Havana and the University of Miami. A founder of the Christian Democratic Movement in Cuba, he fought Castro's Communitist ideologies from the start. He lives in Miami where he helps his daughter, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Leitenen, with her political activities.
