Why The Coyote Yelps: Fifth Grade Pourquoi Tales

This collaborative book is a culminating project for a grade 5 traditional literature unit of study. Students and teachers worked together to learn about the characteristics of traditional literature and students were assigned a Pourquoi tale writing assignment where they were to demonstrate their understanding of various elements of writing and traditional literature.
