My Journey from Wrongfully Accused to Success

Mike Powlas was raised in the Seagate community in Wilmington, North Carolina where he spent an idyllic childhood with great parents, inspired by his family, church and school. Inheriting his father's curiosity for how things worked, he used what he learned to eventually start his own HVAC installation and repair business. His life was brought to a halt when he was accused of committing a crime he was not guilty of. Despite being wrongfully accused, Mike spent a long time in jail awaiting a trial that would never happen. By focusing on his wife and family, he got through the difficult time and successfully re-created his business. Today, Mike is a speaker, podcaster, YouTube host and the owner of a wireless Internet company providing broadband access to people in areas where they have difficulty getting service.
