A Circus Of Brass And Bone

A post-apocalyptic steampunk novel about the Loyale Traveling Circus and Menagerie traveling through the collapse of civilization. During their ocean voyage from Bombay to Boston, someone murders their ringmaster. However they face a much bigger problem after they land in Boston and must deal with the aftermath of a worldwide aetheric calamity. Basic technology has been rendered dangerously unstable and a third of the world's population has died. Circus members struggle with their purpose as a circus at the same time they strive to survive in this new world which includes a starving populace, political factions that have seized power, and ravening monsters born of the aether storm. They find that while it is the end of civilization, the show must go on.
