In 1984 I was 13 years old when a life altering event would happen that would change my life forever. This is the true story about what happened that would send my dad, my older brother and I on a two year journey. A journey that would have us leave east Texas with no money, no car, just the clothes on our back and a belief into unknown. We hitchhiked, rode Freight Trains, moved from town to town across the West Coast and Pacific Northwest. We experienced a lot of adventures and met some interesting characters along the way.
