A Sentient PerspectiveThere is a saying that "Perception is reality". It is glibly suggested, accepted and dangerously wrong. A more accurate description is "Perceptions match reality or indulge delusion".We have indulged delusion. We have yet to achieve a sentient perspective. The human perspective is little changed from the animal that crawled out of its cave many millennia ago. We have blinded our existence through delusion for too long and remain closer to an animal than a sentient being.Sentience is provided by a prodigious brain that empowers hyperawareness and curiosity. That suggests mankind's full potential once unencumbered by delusion. Our conditions suspiciously fall well short of our potential. All of the learning and laws we've created haven't changed the beast's perspective in the slightest. Something continues to disturb the sentient perspective and reduces us to the perspective of a simple and distorted animal. Something is missing. It is possible for civilization to be civilized, society to be sane, humanity to be human, and the universe to be a challenge, not a paranoid threat. We remain a sentient race in disarray. Just think on this. The biggest threat that mankind fears is mankind itself. How strange is that? The perspective of a sentient race is tantalizingly within our easy grasp and purview. The reality will surprise you.
