Cail has spent the last six months resting in the comfort of his own home following the grueling battle against Kordon's evil emperor, Kalil. The victory didn't come without a cost, though. Laney, Cail's best friend, was thrown into a state of unconsciousness when she was afflicted by a curse which was cast on her by Kalil's Servant and Cail's ancient ancestor, Tarvaris Ozean.
