I Smell Chocolate

I Smell Chocolate is not just another picture book. It teaches numbers 1 through 20 in written words, as well as in symbols. It introduces the concepts of vertical lines, horizontal lines, parallel lines and perpendicular lines. The Ants in the book are for counting and have no narration other than the words 'Chocolate' and 'Peanut butter'. The ants are shown communicating by touching each other's antenna, the way ants communicate. The ants demonstrate the different lines as they try to reach the chocolate. This story is told by a child in verse once the ants reach the top of the table.
