Geneva Pomolo, a former teacher, is enjoying her retirement until her friend, Marsela Jones, is found dead in her home. There are no signs of foul play, but Geneva is suspicious. An autopsy later reveals Marsela Jones was suffocated. For a nice older lady, Marsela had made a lot of people angry, including her neighbor, Debbie Dalton-who's hiding a political secret with the mayor that Marsela unfortunately discovered.
