Nineteen-year-old Private Don Orso finds himself in Inchon, Korea in early spring 1946 during the Korean Occupation. As he struggles to find his way in a foreign culture, Orso soon makes friends and turns the heads of some important officers who notice Orso's knack for investigation and getting down to the facts. He is assigned a suave Korean translator who introduces him to the lovely Embee Park. Priorities shift when Orso is ordered to broaden his investigationswith a more experienced interpreter. Based on a story that couldn't be revealed for 50 years.
