Planning Phase of an RCT in an Amphibious Operation

Attempts to show some of the steps required in the planning phase of an amphibious operation, that the same steps are required regardless of the size of the operation, and that the members of the staff of the troop unit engaged should be familiar with the required steps and capable of coordinating intelligently with the various members of other service staffs involved in the operation. Additionally, some of the complications occasionally encountered in joint planning are pointed out.
