This report outlines the production of Japanese chemical warfare supplies, both offensive and defensive. Methods of manufacture are briefly discussed in the respective sections of the report. Tables giving the best available production figures on the various agents, munitions, and equipment are also presented. The report concludes that the Japanese were ill-prepared for modern, large-scale chemical warfare, either offensive or defensive, and that no important technological advances in manufacturing methods were introduced.
