Horse and the Little Girl

Horse and the little girl tells how a little girl discovers a dilapidated rocking horse at Gramma's house that had belonged to her father when he was a boy. She is enchanted with Harry who she calls Horse and rides him every time she visits. Grampa decides to rebuild Horse for her. In the meantime she quickly grows weak from a rare genetic disease and rides Horse only once before she dies. The grandparents decide that God is not vindictive, but loving and the first to cry when someone dies; that her life, no matter how short, was worth the pain and loss. Horse is devastated, but soon meets the girl's baby brother. Horse decides the girl would want him to be her brother's horse, that his heart is big enough for both.
